Q: I would like to receive concert announcements and other advertising so I don't miss any of the great music. Do you have a mailing list? A: We currently have an email subscription list that allows us to stay in touch with music lovers without worrying about when the next postage rate increase will hit. We really want to encourage you to JOIN the "Friends of the Band" to stay in touch with us...but if that just doesn't work for you, please let us know by sending us a note using the Contact Us page. One way or another, we'll make sure to stay in touch. Q: Where does the band rehearse and perform? A: Rehearsals are held in the Q: Does the band have percussion equipment and a library of music? A: We are borrowing the Skyview band percussion equipment and music stands and we have many music library resources at our disposal. Over time the Thornton Community Band expects to purchase its own equipment and build its own music library. Q: Will I be required to pay a membership fee to be part of the Thornton Community Band? A: Yes, an annual membership fee of $50 is required from all active musicians of the organization to help offset operating expenses.
